Rb26 Blowing Oil In Catchcan

Trent from status told me that he ran a 1.0 mm restrickter and had trouble with insuficent oil to one of the cam journals. not sure if there was another reason for that though?

1.0mm was ok 0.9mm was a little to small

Just thought I would pull this thread back up as I have finally solved the problem and thought it may help others down the track..

After having the dramas of my engine trying to push all its engine oil out the rocker covers I made the decision to pull the head and fit the 1.1mm restrictor in place of the 1.5mm tomei one that was previously in place.

Im happy to report this has fixed the problem and I have finally wound the boost op to 20psi and all is going well..

It still amazes me that the 1.1 restrictor makes such a huge difference compared to the 1.5 one but trust me it does... It just goes to show how much oil the nitto pumps flow.
