Welcome back Michele, long time no post.

I missed Mark and yourself at the recent track day. Knowing the times Mark can get with the daily car, he'd probably would have been sticking to the Evo that took fastest car of the day.

It would have been fun to catch up with everyone, we race with Michael at other events, he goes well. SAU do a great job in giving people a taste of the track who may never have taken that step otherwise. Hillclimbs are good for getting some fun with only a fraction of the wear and tear and helps you perfect the standing start. When are we getting you back out to the track

PS sorry for the hijacked thread

Ooooo got any more high res pictures of the blue and white 32 there in your signature Michele, it looks amazing!

Come have a look at Wheels, Mark didn't like the black bonnet, so its blue now. Its looking good, he can't wait to get good tyres on it, but its going good considering.

Car is track ready, tyres a bit worn. Was looking at getting a set of the new federal true semi slicks, but now with the SAU/RENEW competition I need to stick with the street tyres to stay in class. I'm not sure what some of the other cars just ahead of me were running, but I know most of them were either full race cars or had serious mods and were running in club class. For the day (remembering SAU didn't do anything to promote the competition so many didn't know to go in a class) I was point leader despite blowing an intercooler pipe and loosing out on most of session 1 and all session 2.

Are you guys still doing a lot of hillclimbs? or moving more to true races? I just don't have the funds for even low level racing.
