Hi All,

Just to let you know LapZ at the Lake 2011 will be held again at the Historic Lakeside Raceway on the 21st of May this year  Run by the Z Car Club of Queensland

Last year's LapZ had over 60 Japanese Car Sprinting around the Track on the day and quite a few Skylines came out and had a ball. This year we have booked the whole track to ourselves and we will have a maximiun of 90 cars this year in the Sprints.

The will be a morning practice sessions and then the afternoon Sprints. Groups will be devided into 1st timer/novices, intermetiate and expreienced with only 15 per group will mean loads more space on the track. This event is perfect for anyone who has always wanted a drive around Lakeside. You can be in your standard road regrestered car to a full comp set up car. The Practice and Sprint will cost about $160.00 compared to the usual $200+ for the Lakeside Sunday Sprint and Practice.

For those who dont want to do a full sprint, there is Breakfast LapZ which includes breakfast and about 1/2 hour following a pace car around the track for $20.00.

There will be a Static Car Display inside the track and entry for spectators and display cars will be FREE! YES FREE!

Expressions of intrest are now open, so please see the ZCCQ website at My link for futher details of see the attached Flyer

This is Club based motorsport at is best, I hope to see you there on the day

Cheers

Dave

Hi Nee-san,

The only way you can take passengers around is to do the Breakfast LapZ and the passengers all need to pay the $20.00 for the Breaky, i think it is something to do with QR needing you to sign your life away regarding insurance

No passengers for the Sprints

I hope this has helped

Cheers

Whats the rule on passengers ?

Hi Green s13

Each sprint group should get 2 15 to 20 miniute practice sessions in the morning and 3 approximate 5 lap sprints in the afternoon this should consist of 1 warm up lap comming out from the pits then approx 5 flying laps and then a slow down 3/4 lap back to the pits. obviously depending on weather and off's

Cheers

Dave
