Coil Packs

hey i have a problem i dunno what series type coil pack i should get.

i tried a set of spitfire coils the other day and couldnt get them to connect to my plugs.

i have been told that my rb25det is a series 1 but i think it may be a series 2

i dont have a external ignition pack on my engine so does this mean im a series 2 any help would be much apprecieated thanks

That's the only pic I have I'm not with the car right now but its says from what I remember 1994 r33 its a 4 door but yea it doesn't have that separate ignition box near the back of the engine

if there is no seperate ignitor unit (and the car runs fine) then you need series 2 coils, regardless of whether the rest of the engine is a series 1 or not.
