interested to hear how you get on with this Hanaldo...

Id also be interested where you get your parts from and your calculations of length of hose and fitting types?

I could never estimate the fitting angles that were needed for a clean tidy install... so I went and did other things, like collect CF...

Ive still got the rails, reg and large injectors waiting for my e85 upgrade sitting waiting for time and the braided lines...

I'll let you know where I get everything from in the end, but I'm probably just going to do some rough measurements with the HKS rail dummy fitted and then purchase a little more hose than I think I'll need, just in case. Going to just buy the hose and fittings and put it together myself, means I can just cut to length when I need to.

Fitting types should be easy enough. 90 degree fitting into the fuel rail, 180 degree fitting on the return side, going to run the return line parallel to the fuel rail and then back to the reg. Still need to figure out sizes for fittings into the regulator, but they should all just be straight hose ends I think.

but although the fitting is bigger the inlet hole is still the same size as 5/16 hose..

Kind of made me wonder whats the point of going larger hose then so I didnt get it..still 5/16(7.5mm) off the shelf fuel hose everywhere..

So what filter you recomending Scott?? probably should upgrade mine as well..are the basic ryco filters even E85 compatible

Im using two of the proflow dash 8 sized small ones, one for each rail.

I paid $100 plus whatever barbed/dash fittings you want for the ends. The element is washable plus replacements are available. Make sure you get ethanol tolerant bunna style orings to seal the dash fitting.

Injectors online again mate. :)

Actually not sure why I was even considering one with threaded ends, would require more fittings that I don't really need.

What about the Earls inline barb end type, like this:

It's the only barb end filter they offer but it's only 35 micron sintered bronze element, is that ok? Flows 4-5 GPM. Would prefer one of their new billet inline filters, but they only come in threaded ends and I imagine are quite expensive themselves.

why exactly would the ethanol destroy a normal filter anyway? its not as though fuel isnt corrosive to begin with..... just a rumor to spend more money?:blink:

unfortunately too many shops treat e85 like methanol...

braided everything, 12 surge tanks 8 pumps, billet rails, 24 injectors etc....

all it does is overheat the fuel anyways.
