Wakefield Park's No.1 track days - run by Advanced Driver Training Australia's most professional crew and drivers

Venue: Wakefield Park - 10 km south of Goulburn.

Date: 7th APRIL

Price: $265 per person and $100 for a second driver (The second driver will share the same car in the same group).

Track: 2.2km racing circuit.

Vehicle: Use your own vehicle or enquire about trying one of our Type R Vtec Honda Integra's with full roll cage, race seats, harnesses, coil over suspension, GTR brakes and R compound tyres (extra charge applies).

Track amenities: Ample car parking, canteen, coffee shop, carports, lock-up pit lane garaging, tower, timing and corporate area.

Price includes

* 15 minute sessions

* $10 lunch vouchers for use in raceway cafe/canteen

* Experienced race drivers/instructors including John Boston, Ian Dyk, Dean Evans and David Sieders. (Instructors may vary on the day)

* Theory sessions are held throughout the day for those who want it

* Natsoft Timing

Group organisation: Drivers will be divided into groups according to speed and/or experience.

Clothing requirements: Please wear closed in shoes, socks, long pants and long sleeve shirt. Bring a helmet (helmet hire is available).

Gift vouchers: Available upon request.

Has anyone done one of these before? I'm thinking it is a very wise option for me to familiarise myself with Wakefield and track techniques generally.

Scott, the guys helping me run these days are some of the best people and drivers around.

Sweet as Bozman1. I inquired by email a few days ago for myself and one other to attend this day on 7 April but haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully there's still spots!

yeah i know that was a bit snarky huh, thats what i get for logging on with no sleep.

sorry Boz, been to a couple of club track days recently and none were in that price bracket but i know, dont have the instructors etc

just im on a serious budget with my track time so have to skimp on luxuries like driver training :P

For a lot of people especially first timers this would be a great idea, im sure i would get something out of it too but blew my track budget for the first quarter after going to like five track days in Feb/March alone.

Next will probably be the NSCC one in May, about 90 bucks for members. SAU one was 250 including renewal i think so not far off this thing and the HSV owners one i went to today was about 150 for some reason.

anyway the whole cost issue is relative and depends on the person, i was chatting to Hamster the EPCC guy at the last eastern creek night run i drove at, 5th of march.

I was saying how great it was they did a two for one with the tix and if they kept it that cheap i would be able to go every month, but he said most of his members dont even blink at the $340 plus it usually costs to do an EC day. They do all drive fast euros which might have something to do with it but point is if enough people are willing to pay then thats what they will charge.

k sorry for the rant, guess i was just bitter reading about a track day i couldnt make :blush:

      Yeah I'm happy to talk to whoever, I don't want to take ownership or even manage it if they don't want but I can probably help with hosting on the sau setup. It's a great resource and should be protected.

      So, got some bits..   New oil filter housing gasket (main problem I'm trying to fix -see leak above)  While you're in there's: New belts, pulley and tensioners.  Vanos oil line New oil drain valve New water pump and pulley  New fumoto valve (all my cars have these). Some of this stuff seems ok now that I've pulled it out but I still have no idea how old it all is.  The belts looked fine and then I noticed this. Like somebody has hooked it with a pick.

      As the title suggests, Looking for some comfortable replacement seats that will suit/fit an R32 GTR. Purely road use.  Happy to travel to the Tweed, Gold Coast and Brisbane area. Possibly Sunshine Coast for the right seats. Show me what you got! Thanks in advance.

      Hi friends, I recently got myself back into an R32 GTR with factory seats. The seats themselves are in excellent condition but the drivers seat is a bit tight for my back and become uncomfortable after about 20min of driving. A lot of these places seem to be in Sydney and Brisbane. Maybe there's an individual who has an after market item such as Bride or Recaro I could quickly try? Thanks in advance!
