Car Alarm Pager Not Working!? Cannot Start Car :(

After 3.5 years of owning my car, Ive never had an issue with the alarm Pager, until today... I have a Omnitronic PG-8000 Alarm immobaliser pager system.

The FOB seems to be working OK.. I tried to unlock my car as usual witht he FOB.. and didn't get a response from the car. Nothing seems to happen when I press any buttons on the FOB.

Thing is I cant start the car with out it. Im not sure weather its a problem with the remote or Reciever... I've read that If I pull out all the leads from the main unit, the car will start?? im out and away from the car at the moment so cant try that. I've also tried checking the circuit boards on both the remote and Reciver, they look fine.

Can I get an Aftermarket FOB for this type of alarm. Omnitronic dont seem to exist anymore, as I cant find a website..

anyone had similar problems to this? or maybe have a solution for me.

      I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).

      Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.

      The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.

      Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
