R33 Sunroof

hey guys,

my r33 has a factory sunroof on it, but its having some problems that it just doesnt open at all.

when i press either the open buttom or up buttom, i can hear the motor is working or something is working, but the roof just got stuck and doesnt open at all.

I just have no idea whats wrong with it, and wonder if anyone here can help me to solve this problem out.

i'm having the same problem

my mechanic said it would probably be the railing, cause the motos fine, but he couldn't help me

i called a sunroof place but its in the too hard basket at the moment

im my experience this is due to the gears wearing out, usually they are made from plastic and as the sunroof rails loose there grease it becomes harder for the motor to open it... the motor still can but the cruddy plastic gearing isnt up to the job and the teeth strip...

take it out

pull it apart
