Versions of RB26DETT

Is there any differences in the RB26DETT which came in the R32/R33/R34 GTR ? I think I've heard that the R34 version had some improvements in Valve Timing ?

And will a R34 RB26DETT be a straight bolt up fit to a R32 GTR shell ?

Front diffs

Power steer pumps

Some loom changes etc to accomodate the different injector drivers etc.

A r33 one will go in a bit better.

The engine itsself will bolt up. Best to change all the accesorys though.

Just make sure that if you use the R34 engine in an R33 or R32 that you change the front diff. The R34 uses a 3.54:1 ratio and the R32/33 use a 4.11:1 ratio. It will create all kinds of problems with the ATTESSA system. Ask me how I know.
