Hi guys ,

I have had my V35 GT8 for 9months now and starting to want more power - other than turbo charging or super charging which might happen at a latter stage I wanted to know what some of you guys are running and what gains you jve got .

ATM the only mods for performance I have are stillen exzorst system and a K & N air filter

Hey bud,

I have a 03 V35 Coupe 5AT, didnt get to dyno the car when it was stock =[

but I'm assuming the car would have around 150-155rwkw stock

though the mods I did after were

X-Force catback exhaust system, Plenum spacer, Z-Tube,

K&N panel filter with modded stock box.

and it made 170rwkw, was running rich so I added a Apexi SAFC II

and took fuel out at higher RPM and it made 174rwkw.

id say get some hfc, apparently the stock have alot of restriction, maybe some 100cell or 200cell count hfcs, iv got 200 on mine with now stock exhaust and it seems so smooth with it and there is some sort of power difference *from feel - i havent dyno'd* there around 300-600/700 depending what brand you get and what sort of cell count you want and sound..

... stock ... I'm assuming the car would have around 150-155rwkw stock ... though the mods I did after ... it made 170rwkw ...
Is it just me, or is that a big step up (15 to 20rwkw)?

I am guessing you did each upgrade in steps, although you didnt dyno it, any comments on what upgrade(s) gave the best step in performance (bang fa buck)? I guess I am looking at what I should consider in which order.

Stock run 163rwkw

Plemun spacer +7rwkw

Pop charger/ Z tube +7rwkw

Light wieght pulleys and extrators +14rwkw

Y pipe yet to dyno guessing +4rwkw

I have a grounding kit too but i don't think it gives more power but on the box it did say up to 5hp more power (i don't think so)

These are my gains and everyone gets different results. But it looks like you get about 7kw for every $300 mod. not including install costs.

You can pay more or lees for these items. but i payed about $300 for each one. Y pipe was the cheapest and pulleys the most.

Best run 191rwkw

Hoping to break 200 with next mod. But in no rush

P.S this topic has been covered before. do a search.

+10RWKW lol

or you can get the pink flowers for 5rwkw each flow or personal fave is the "such is life" but that way too many kw for a v or any car.

jk

but yeah id recommend HFC's again or if you want to go all out just TT or T or S/C the bitch (i know you said later - but cost of all little things might add up to 100% cost of a kit or something like that dpending what you get.).

When I first started looking at the v354, accepting it was non-turbo and therefore difficult to get extra power, I started to look into small Nitro kits. But then I read somewhere when checking their legality, that if they were connected on the street, you would be looking at 10k fine.pinch.gif Didn't check if that was the max fine, or the default fine.
