Does anyone have a Short shifter installed?

Supposedly they make the throw 10% shorter.

N1 Distribution has Nismo ones for about $450, and C's (like Pranks) for $750.

i remember seeing C's for 400ish on the net. i always thought it was 10% for Nismo and 30% for C's

i had a custom one made which changes 45% shorter. very easy and quick gear changes.

cost about 650 to make

you can get a c's copy for around $250 should work just as good. Nismo make 2 10% and about 30%. I wouldn't be paying $750 for one try takakaira.com

I had a whole bunch of genuine C's with full boxes and manuals etc... sold them for under $400... about $350 i think. Nismo makes 2 shifters, one 10% and one 30% like C's.....

They are harder on the gearbox so use a good oil.

I think its 30%. I'll have to check the box. It's the C's one though

I got it rather cheaply then, thanx to nengun of course.

I am waiting till the NSCC club garage day to install it this month. I was told it will make a huge difference, just had the oil changed a few thou ago so it shouldn't be a drama. gearbox has had an easy life with me.

I'm planning on putting an R32 shifter in mine. After talkin to a jap mate of mine who's got a 32 apparently its the cheaper alternative to a short shifter, as it shortens the throw by about 9%. Its a very popular swap amongst R32 GTS/t owners in japan.

i have a c's short shifter in my car and compared to stock i recon it feels a million times better the stick feels way tighter and shifts are obviously way shorter although it does feel abit heavier.
