hi guys, im loking at a T67-25G which is oil cooled only. will this decrease the turbo life span? is it worth going oil only. it will be on a highmount setup, manifold is HPC coated, and i have a carbon fibre bonnet which basically vents direclty at the turbo for extra cooling. just wondering if there is any dis advantage to switching to oil cooled only.

cheers.

What about an oil and water cooled turbo but only running it as oil cooled. Only cause it would be on a project car and have no water lines. Would i have to bung up the water holes/threads on the turbo if not used or leave them open? or that would be a stupid question cause it would get dirt/dust etc inside the turbo.
