Havent had any experience with them bro,

but from what i hear its all good. As long as they can provide you with all relevant paperwork ie full auction reports, de-reg certificate, export certificate etc

while also getting an inspection then you should be good to go! They may even email you the auction sheet for forum members to help you with...

bought my 350gt of dimirty there (it was actually his car, not the dealerships). They're a pretty good mob there, honest and dont dick you around.

Always get an independant inspection however, no matter how honest the trader is, they can still miss things.

But all in all, good cars and nice people, just use common sense and check all the details.

Hey guys,

I did a search of the forums regarding buying from Nagoya motors in Caringbah. So far the comments have been mostly good.

Has anyone bought from them recently? Are they good to deal with?

Cheers

I bought my V35 from them in July last year. I found them very easy to deal with and they had good quality stock on offer. I did have one issue within the week - a door lock motor had failed and wasn't locking - and they ended up swapping one out from another car to get me on my way (I live in Canberra). That was a bit of a battle, as they wanted to get my failed one repaired but ended up not being able to so I hassled them to take one from another car. Still, they did it and the car's been fine otherwise.

And be careful with the paperwork and details provided. I was sold my car as a 2005 (I've still got a copy of the details published on their website), and it *was* a Series II, but when they signed me over the paperwork I found out it was a December 2004 build date. Nissan started making the Series II in November 2004. I went ahead with it because I'd already paid to have cruise installed and Toyo T1R's put on.

Dmitriy is the one who knows the Skylines, but you'll probably deal with Alex (I think he's the boss). If you've never been there before it's easy to drive past them as they have a thin street frontage. Just look out for a mass of Delica's parked out along the road - it's their extended yard.

do the usual checks for paint/dints/ repairs and you wil be right.

messiah flew me down for the day to help him with his purchase. nagoya was teh third and final place he looked and I had put a scan tool across all the cars he looked at. the S3 V35 that he bought from nagoya was flawless and they even programmed the BT phone for him as well. good service was what I saw from an outside point of view. (they somewhat knew who I was and why I was there as well.)

Got my v35 from them september 2010, have not had a problem with the car. Getting it serviced this Monday, ill let you guys know how it goes as im getting it serviced by a performance shop and they will be able to point out any faults or problems. But other than that generally their cars are pretty clean.

I thought u knew dmitry chris? he knows you.

I brought my car from him, also a personal car he brought in, not a car yard one.

He looked after me, the Bose radio didnt work and he swapped another one over for me. Still have to sort out something that i have been lazy to do so regarding an alarm not being put in but i will contact Dmitry and see how the after support is and let you guys know.

most of the sydney based dealers know me or know of me. I'm not exactly private with what I work on when you think about it. I often get calls from dealers around the country asking me questions.

dimitry met me when simon bought his car. and he met me with a launch scan tool in hand.

What does the launch tool tell u about our cars? (what function did you use when looking at the cars) ?

I look at fault code history with it. if I see a airbag error I go digging deeper and start inspecting things physically. did that on one car that simon looked at in northwest sydney.

I also look at fault history in the engine as well. same thing with that.

other than that its a debugging tool for me and a VERY expensive one. ($4k)
