Hi everyone, I got a question about fitting a 350Z exhaust on a V35 coupe.

I know it can be made (extended) to fit on a V35 coupe. My question is, later on down the years, will it have affect on the exhaust itself (Like wear-and-tear on extended bit, etc.)?

Or any other info would be great.

Thank you.

I had a X-Force system from a 350z made to suit my V35.

Mid section had to be extended 150-170mm and the tips 50-70mm If I remember correctly.

Wear and tear would be the same as a direct bolt on suited exhaust, unless the welds are shit when you mod the 350z system.

I personally never had a problem with mine, and that was on the car for 8-9months.

Thanks, Bee.

Yeah, I read up about this on the net and alot had said approximate 7 inches extension is needed to fit the V35 coupe. I suppose a good exhaust place can make it fit?

Another thing is, I've got a Veilside version-1 rear which comes out about an inch. So I think I will have to get an extra 1 inch extended to look flash at the tip. Does that sound all right? :P

Yep, a good exhaust shop should be able to do it no worries.

Yeah that sounds right.

If the aftermarket rear lip comes out another inch then another inch will def have to be added to the already extended 50-70mm .

Cool. Thanks, Bee.

While we are on the topic on getting a good exhaust shop to make the exhaust fit, would anybody from WA know a good exhaust shop in Perth (I like to have choices. :P )?

Thanks.

Cheaper to buy that extension Victor.

Also alot of the 350z after market exhaust systems come with that extension in the box. Ask around the 350z forum and i'll bet someone has one :)

Thanks, Paul. I might just do that.

One thing is, I think, the extension is not adjustable. Mine's got a rear kit that comes out an extra inch. So I might have to get customised or something to sit flush at the tip.
