Hey guys,

Car: R32 GTS4

I have this bad metal grinding/rubbing sound in the rear when turning sharply left or right but it does not happen when in neutral or the clutch is in.

Its very loud inside and vibrates the whole car sometimes.

it wouldn't be wheel bearings as the sound would happen with the clutch in anyway.

Can it be the diff or CV joint? Or even aftermarket diff?

All HICAS bits have been removed and lock bar installed.

Problem fixed - I replaced the diff oil and ran in the new oil by going in left and right circles for a few mins and the diff shutter has gone.

I wasnt sure if it was because the diff was warmed up at the time the noise went so I tried going around a few tight corners this morning....noise isn't there! :D

The oil that came out was nearly black....was due for a change lol
