Yes I saw you waving like mad this morning Bodo, I had to put my coffee down to wave.

Nice! would have been hard to miss.

I was driving Maureen to work. But i should see you more regularly, as I'll be starting half an hour later for a while :)

booked for speeding last night. Cop trying to throw the book at me and my skyline. Wanted to defect me for no wiper blade on rear window and no high brake light. Was very disappointed when he tried to book me for a C/F boot lid, only to be told it was a sticker..

he is the first asshole cop I've come across since having this car. I guess i was long over due. Started preaching to me how my car is un-roadworthy and that if he sees it on the road again he is going to pull me over and defect it.

Being an R33, it has a high mount stop light from factory on both the S1 and S2. If the rear wing has been remove and/or replaced with an aftermarket item, then yes it's illegal unless a high mount has been fitted to the rear parcel shelf.

What about in the cases where a gtr wing has been fitted to a gtstas a factory optional? I heard that it is a optional I myself am just going off things I've heard.

GTR's seem fine for some reason. Ive never heard of a GTR wing being factory fitted. but yes, all R33 gtst's came with the third brake light. which makes crap all sense seeing as there are 4 already on the back

Legit gtr wings have a light strip in them.

this I did not know. 32 GTR's don't. So i assumed 33's didn't either

Well mines not a factory optional then XD

guess not

i know it should have on, just a really poor thing to bring up when the other lights work fine

agreed. Hopefully you don't get more grief because of one bad piece of bacon. (or decide my car is close enough to yours and hassle me now)

On this topic, it's been ages since i was last pulled over.....maybe they final realise I drive like a granny normally, and that my car has nothing done to it.

    • I would not be surprised if you are the only person on earth that has the interest/desire to do that lol.  The Haltech base map is a really good starting point, the car will fire easily and drive very well, even on mild boost levels. To me, following your advice sounds like some sort of ancient Chinese water torcher lol (this is not an insult Josh, never change <3)
    • Those car show concepts from the 2000's and 2010's like the Floria and IDx were brilliant and should've gone ahead, at least one of them. But neither Honda nor Nissan are thinking about affordable performance any more, which is truly sad.  Even if Toyota's liquid hydrogen ICE development reaches the point where it's commercially viable and the infrastructure to support it, Honda/Nissan would have to wait until Toyota allow fee access to their patents to offer it with any smaller performance models they released to take advantage of it.
    • A sporty manual RWD coupe with a IL4 Honda engine would only be a good thing I assume we won't see anything released for a few years though, unless informal talks and designs have been going on for a few years,  and due to the current, and future, emmisions and safety requirements, I assume anything "sporty" they would do would be at least some hybrid thingie And hopefully anything they are thinking of has nice lines, without lots of plastic and fake bits hanging off it like that horrendous FK8 that looked like it was designed by a 13 year old The other issue of course in the current market is cost, currently the type R is around $70k, a twin is around $50k Meh, I'm old and grumpy and would rather buy a older model car and waste my coin on that than buying anything currently available new
    • Nissan needs to forget about building SUVs in every size possible and bring back the damn Silvia/200sx duo to compete with the 86/brz. Maybe with the Honda type r motor pointing the right way
