Late Model Dash Cluster Into Early Model.

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows for a fact whether A31 clusters from the later models fits and works with early models.

I know early model clusters work in my c33 and the lates have the same plugs layout as the early ones but the circuitry looks different.

Any info would be a big help thanks.

They do fit but don't work properly.

My late model C33 cluster did plug into the ceffy but some lights didnt work, fuel, temp gauge, some dash lights etc didnt work, caused problems with headlights n shit as well.

With some rewiring it could work.

Also, you cannot simply swap the gauges into an early model cluster.

Speedo and Tacho DO fit, water temp and fuel dont fit (theyre slighly offset on angle and can't be screwed into the board).

can some one get pics of the late model cluster? i removed my 88' one and installed another with the higher rpm display
