Guys i'll start sending payment information out so we can get this going.

The group buy will still be open for more people until the given date, but might aswell get it going given that we have the required amount of people.

OK Pm's have been sent so every one should have details regarding payment.

DTSNR32 I could not PM you because I think your inbox is full. Let me know when you make space and I will send you the details.

For either Phil or anyone who would start a group buy for a relocation kit separate to these coolers, I'm in for one of those. I can't justify a cooler (even for this price) but a relocation kit is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for anyone who does their own oil changes imo, lol.

 .. I've never understood the whining about reaching the oil filter - like on GTRs sure - with the plenum in the way it would be a right pain - but on GTST/GTT?

Are GTST different or something? On the R34 GTT it's like totally easy? .. Never had any dramas? Couldn't imagine wasting time/money on a relocator ..

Not on an RB25........ you guys got it easy!

Yep RB25's are easy UNLESS you have Plazmaman plenum and nitrous fuel lines in the way lol.

That's the only reason I want one. If I had a stock 25 I wouldn't bother.

Either you guys have conveniently crafted a catch container for the remaining oil in your filter when you unscrew it (ice cream container for example), or you don't give a rats ass about the amount of oil that remains in the filter and pours out down the side of the block and all over the steering rack/wishbone etc...

I like a neat, tidy, and most of all CLEAN engine bay. Having to use that much degreaser to clean that shit is a pain in the ass, and I'm certainly not leaving it there. With a relocation kit the filter will either already be "hanging" and therefore won't pour oil out, or will be in a position where it's much easier to place a catch container underneath it so as to not spill oil everywhere.

Nobody agrees? If you guys have a way around this shitstorm mess, PLEASE TELL ME. As long as it doesn't involve getting your car even HIGHER off the ground - ie hoist.

Don't really know what to say? From what I recall of the last change, I don't get that much residual oil from the oil filter hole besis what's in the filter, and the angle of the filter means it doesn't tend to spill too easily. Any residual oil from the filter hole is caught by the big oil drain catcher I use that also catches from the sump drain plug ..

I tend to keep my engine bay fairly immaculate, I can't stand mess and untidiness.

.. eh, each to their own. Whatever suits you, man :)

I've always had this problem...dunno how you don't have much :P Though depending on how hard I've thrashed the car, I will occasionally jack it higher on the left hand side to allow a further ~400ml or so oil to drain out. As an indirect result of this, the filter will retain more oil due to the angle...oh I don't know, either way, if I can avoid fiddling around with the f**king thing on the side of the block, I'll do it! haha
