Fit Subwoofer In Gtr33 Boot

Hi all,Anyone ever fit a subwoofer in a GTR boot space?? If so,how did you do it,what size speaker and box,and how did you lock it down etc,give me some ideas.Cheers Greypearl.

Pretty sure the GTR boot is the same as the GTST. If so, someting like this is the best option

12" Moulded Sub Box

I have that very one but for the RHS instead of left. Produces decent enough sound for me and fits really well. I'm not after a perfect audio system so it may not be the best but It got me some boot space back.

Had a generic sub box in there before and it just takes up so much room because it doesnt really fit into any of the corners

does anybody know if the GTST coupe boot is the same as the GTS25T sedan boot?

He has a shop down south somewhere I think just advertises on Ebay as well.... contact him and see what he says about differences between 2 door and 4 door R33 boots, Im not sure of the differences

i have one of these enclosures, and a peerless 12" sub that suits VERY small boxes. sounds very good but he's not making them any more AFAIK.

you don't need a massive enclosure like that unless you a) want to use a cheap driver or b) you want to rattle your fillings loose.

I have one for sale on the forum but I've added 4L of sound deadening to it + a crap load of dacron to it. I'll be happy to let it go for $150 as well. Problem is, I'm in Sydney.
