theres always a chance on a low k car that it has been tampered with..but the condition of the car will give u a better indication then whatever is on the clock...that does seem like really low k's but maybe thats exactly what it is

if in doubt and you have access to the car get a mechanic to do an inspection on it and get a professional opinion

hopefully it all comes back sweet tho, good luck

bit over 3000k's a year on average does seem a tad low, doesnt it? :/

is this a car your looking at buying or just one you saw?

Works out to be under 70km a week lol.

I would believe it if it was a R33 N1 GTR or something along those lines. Not a GTS.

Hmm interesting man, my brother bought his r34 sedan with 27xxxkm on the clock, in that time the only that has faild are the coilpacks. He's racked up about 40,000kms in 5 years. Just make sure there are no accidents/chassis damage, rust etc. And the engine has good compression, also check things like the condition of the belts, especially the timing belt

could be the real deal ya never know but like others have said have it looked at. if ther persion selling it gets defencive then you know its a no go but if the car looks great then you just have to flip a coin.

the km's could be legit even if the condition of the car is pretty ordinary (not everyone treats their car great. i've seen near new cars with low kms but in terrible condition and vice versa). generally though it is a good indicator. the kms on an import are very rarely legit though.

the missus pulsar is a 2000 model and only has 70,000kms on it. would've been less but we went back to 1 car for a while. at one point when we had 2 cars though, her car would've been lucky to do 50kms a month as we always took my car. sometimes her car would go a week or 2 without even being started.
