ok so i went out for a cruise last night, gave the line abit of stick, pulled over and noticed smoke coming out from under the hood.

as far as i could tell it was oil on the exaust (specifically near the trubo) that is where the smoke was coming from, also there was oil all over the engine bay and a pool near the pod filter (possably unrealated) as the power steering looks like it is over flowing.

i drove it home not on boost, had a better look this morning and took some videos, i noticed today that the car isnt holding boost and i couldnt see any oil on or near the turbo(possably burnt off?).

any ideas of what could have happened?

any feedback would be appriciated :)

cheers in advance - Trent

took the car for a drive, holds boost fine, had a closer look at a few things and it apears that there are some issues with the power steering, ie. oil on fan shroud near power steering pump and also a hose off at the bottom of the power steering resivoir, which doesent consern me that much. the thing that i dont uderstand is that there is oil/fluid on the firewalll and wheel well near the turbo. also the is no oil in the catch can. (dont know much about this so not sure whether is should do or not). i checked the oil via the dipstick and oil levels are still fine after topping them up this morning. one more thing i noticed was a crack at the top of the turbo on the manifold/shield? dunno what it is.

i have taken a few more photos hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

cheers - trent
