I Think I Need A Surge Tank

I use my r33 for drifting and what ive found for a while is when its on half a tank or lower on hair pin turns the car surges mid drift so im thinking its time for a surge tank. I got a nismo drop in fuel pump in at the moment and was thinking of using a 044 for the surge tank any suggestions on surge tank setup ideas or recomend anywhere I can buy the whole kit having to buy everthing separetly.

possible your nismo isnt close enough to the bottom of the tank?

do you want the tank in the boot or under the car? is it still a street car? theres a stack of options available out there.

Well the nismo is direct replacement so you cant really go wrong when sticking it in just make sure its on the bracket and slid down all the way. normally driving the car it will not starve petrol til the last drop so I dont think the height is the problem . At the moment its street rego'd still which I do drive around sometimes but yeah I would like it in the boot.

I go for pump mounting also being the issue. It could have moved or anything else. Don't know till you check/measure it

Half a tank shouldn't be a problem at all.

I'll open it up to check again but yeah still not convinced about it being postion but it does seem odd to me aswell how its doing at half a tank also when it was on petrol it did it at about 1/4 now since e85 its doing it at half.

i'm running a nismo intank pump with similar power and have not really had surge issues
