Oil Around Coil Pack?

Hey guys just wondering if you can help but I was looking around my coilpacks today and noticed there was oil around the one at the front of the engine. There is a hole next to the spark plug that it is coming out of. Is that meant to happen and what is the hole for?? Engine is a rb25det Cheers

where exactly is the "hole". pictures might help here

the only place it could be coming from is if the rocker cover gaskets have failed, or if the breather pipe is cracked and leaking. if there is a hole in the head then you have other problems.

^yep i got new gaskets and now all good

i know the hole he is talking about.... it's near cyl 1

but it never leaks oil... i'm actually not sure what it's for

Yeah that hole maybe there is oil coming from other places and pooling there shall investigate further. Was also wondering why that hole is there for?
