A thread about a famous magazine...

Your thoughts?

Many goodies are coming out in the next issue #133 (1st April), namely...

* The long-awaited article about the R32 GT-R 21st Anniversary with 30 pictures to boot

* Iron Chef's "Imprimatur" column that talks about Reverse Polarity and how/what cars are able to be imported into Japan

* A new insurance company on the horizon for enthusiasts like us. Catch? You must drive your car less than 60 days a year. Advantage? Up to 60% off competitors' premiums.

But how can I forget that famous quote by a PI Motoring Editor on page 88, who says...

And may I add the quote by a Top Secret Imports CEO who said,

"The EVO Club needs to take a leaf out of the book of what Skylines Australia does" :thumbsup:

So the Presidents, Execs, Members and participants of each state of SAU; take a bow!

Havnt read the latest one yet, but looks good. have enjoyed rreading them.

One thing i do like is fast fours (sistermag) is documenting a build of a RB34 stroker kit from spool imports. I wont one.

That comment comes as the least surprising given what goes on over there, it's rather pathetic :(

But props to all who've made this community so big, so great and simply - so much fken fun! :)

Had a look at Motive DVD #11 last night at Unigroup Eng. too thanks to purchase/delivery from Shane Pres SAU.SA.

It'll be in NSW in a week or two...

      brake clearance depends on spoke design GT-R size I'd go 9.5 +15 or +12, and if you've rolled your guards, 10" +20. People run 10.5 but I reckon that's too wide.

      I was using Realdash App on my entertainment unit in the sil80. Can connect over USB/bluetooth, can set up warnings and is discreet and doesn't stand out bonus was using android auto so had maps and music still going. Put the dollars saved from a screen into decent ecu, sensors and other upgrades.

      Here’s something I was wondering. From the colour of the fuel that came out of the old filter and how hard it was to take it out, I would assume that was clogged AF! Do you think the car was running lean during those times? And would it now run better now that the flow is better? Or would it run rich for a while and then start adjusting?  I’m not really sure if the R34 ECU adjusts to changes like this. I mean it’s an ECU from 2000, not AI 😂 But also, interested to know if anything like that is there.

      Have made a start on the dump pipe. Ordered a few 3.5 inch bends and pie cuts. To make fit up and tacking a bit easier cut some slots in an old t bolt clamp. It's been a tight fit but managedto get it down under the car but still sits about 5-6mm below the chassis rail. Have started to weld it out but not had much time. Also got new orings and gasket so intake and injectors are back in with all the water bypass done. Another box arrived with bits for making a  swirl pot off the upper coolant neck. PWR are still waiting to make my intercooler and radiator but should be ready in 2 weeks. Slowly making a plan for a few suspension arm upgrades for when all engine/driveline is done. Got a busy period for work  ext few weeks so not much will happen on the car.

      I've had this happen with some cheaper kits and found the efihardware ones don't do this. I would go be pwm the pump no way need it at 100% all the time.
