When taking off the back shelf of one of the R33's I saw this lil silver box. What the hell is this??

It is on the drivers side strut just under the shelf.

Factory amp hmmm. Sounds right but it has never been on any of the other cars that we have done.

i have been told it stop rust seeing as most car in japan live close to the see, it run a small charge thuogh the body of the car and stops the salt from eating in the body work....that what i was told.....i was looking at aq car that had it on to and that what he tolod me....he was from japan too....

According the the manual, part number 17001 is something to do with the fuel pump. Could be the fuel pump regulator.

thats the modle nomber of the engine......we should be looking for a63-000187

oh, and btw, my car is a 94 gtst, hicas etc and it doesnt have that... could it possibly be something thats on the A LSD r33?

no idea, from the page i posted up that has ecu model numbers but that pic looks nothing like an ecu

I would guess the fuel pump modulator...although I've never been able to find mine...maybe I should look again..More pictures needed....how many wires comming out the plug?
