yeah great pic looks bloody cold there,

how come yours revs to 8000rpm?

Mine also revs to 8000; I think Mat and I have the exact same head setup. Performance valve springs and retainers plus poncams, my tuner thought it was safe to rev that high.

Rev limit gets set in the Haltech (Or link in Martins case) and apparently with the springs and retainers etc 8000rpm is where the party is!

Edit - And nope that was a pretty warm day!

You have a better setup that me as your head has been off ;)

Gave the headlights a quick wipe with PLAST-X today, cant wait to get home and finish it as they look so different even with a quick wipe! Very impressed!

A quick snap from this morning while i was checking a few things, i cant wait to get the bay all cleaned up and take some decent shots.... I will head down to the bolt shop and find new stainless bolts for the timing case cover etc just to make it look a bit cleaner, ill also give the runners etc a good clean up so it all looks nice and neat.

I would leave the rad as is, alloy enhances the black theme IMO.

I was thinking the same thing. It matches the comp cover, hose clamps and other little silver bits in the engine bay.

Starting to think the same, by the time i go out and get shiny bolts and clean everything up properly it should look OK!

Its still got coolant and shit everywhere from that radiator drama :glare:
