Hey there people.

Just wondering if NGK laser platinum premium spark plugs are ok to use on my R34. I have heard a few other people mention different ones but REPCO only had these ones in.

Many thanks

Zeebs

I did, but my tuner changed them to the normal style plugs.... Which is cheaper

I just had to make sure they were gapped correctly and changed more regularly...

Check with a tuner if you want the best answer to suit your given situation.

NGK laser platinum will be fine, they generally have a longer service life than copper. thats the difference. they have a slower wear rate and are slightly more resistant to fowling i believe.

i always use copper plugs. i dont have to pay for plugs but im still happy with copper ones.

the longer service life of iridiums or platinums etc does not come into the equation for me tho because i do the plugs every 5000 anyway lol

i use bcpr7es from memory.

You may as well stick with bcpr6es/bkr6es or bosch fr7dp/fr7dpx which are platinums for pretty much the same price, and change with oil every 5-10k km. Some people have success with long lasting platinums and iridiums, but most don't.
