Auto To Manual Conversion

Hey all, fairly new to all this, been looking to buy a 32 for a while now just slowly saving up. Problem is I'm pretty picky and havnt been able to find anything i like, i was going to get one imported from Japan but had a few people tell me its not as simple as it sounds (even going through import company) anyways to cut a long story short wondering how easy and pricey it is to convert an r32 auto to manual. any info would be great. Cheers
