I thought the Crows players were pathetic on Saturday. Craig had them structured well enough to get 5 goals in front. It's not like he then put on a Port jumper and starting kicking goals for the Power. Too many football fans are decades behind the modern AFL game.

if GCS are any chance against port i might chuck some money on it for the lols, but i reckon port could field a team of trainers & support staff and still win.

hawks are looking good, except they havent had a notable win *yet* so i'm reserving opinion till they play geelong, pies, bulldogs, adelaide, sydney. I think these are the genuine threat teams at this stage.

And im an Adelaide supporter, and would probably take the Crows out of the threat teams group! I think we still have a little way to go, top 8 definitely, but lets see just how deep we go come September

I was watching GCS play the demons on Sunday and they did alright for a team that has only played 3 games so far. They lost out in the midfield and when Gazza gets back this week i think they can well and truly cause an upset by beating the power. I am going to be definitely putting $10 behind them this week for the lols as the old man is a fanatic power fan :D

Hawthorn played Adelaide in round 1 and lost although it was a somewhat hollow victory for the Crows as they lost Porplyzia, Sloane, Mackay and Doughty for extended periods.

Adelaide's current injury list reads:

Ian Callinan (bicep) - indefinite

James Craig (hamstring) - 4 weeks

Phil Davis (shoulder) - 1-2 weeks

Michael Doughty (corked leg) - test

David Mackay (shoulder) - indefinite

Jason Porplyzia (shoulder) - indefinite

Sam Shaw (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks

Rory Sloane (thumb/jaw) - 2-3 weeks

Scott Stevens (ill) - test

Daniel Talia (achilles) - 2-3 weeks

Luke Thompson (ankle) - test

+ Jared Petrenko was seen walking around in a moon boot and was to get scans on his ankle today.

I wouldn't be backing the Crows against many opponents atm.

At this stage I rate the teams as such:

Collingwood

Geelong, WBD, Hawks

Freo, Sydney

Carlton, Essendon,

WCE, St Kilda

Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Melbourne, Richmond

North Melbourne, Brisbane

GCS

On another note my tipping is going ok with 6, 6, 6 & 5 but my Dream Team is ranked 24th from 271,000 entries and my Super Coach squad is ranked 126th from 366,000 entries.

Problem with the Saints is that they appear too reliant on a couple of key players and if they go missing, they're gone me thinks.......not to mention that Riewolt can't kick straight to save his life (unlike Buddy Franklin)

^I picked St K for the win this round

I'm looking forward to watching the anzac day game, see what the bombers can do against the pies

That will be the Bombers true test Luke........I keep thinking week after week that they'll fall over but they don't seem to be doing too bad.........must be the Hird factor cause the team hasn't changed much from last year when they played like little school girls

I would expect the pies to rollover the bombers because of a few key players being injured in the Essendon camp.

On another note. Port vs GCS. Port are paying $1.03 where as the GCS are paying $12.50 lol

Chucked $20 on GCS to win paying $13, you beauty!

I cant say too much about Port because they just didnt get their hands on the ball in the last quarter. Motlop should stop trying to f**k around with the ball, grab it and kick a goal. Gary Ablett, truly inspirational performance.

    • @dbm7 and @GTSBoy thank you both very much! will give that a shot!
    • Sounds good. Provided the panel is flat/level I'd be happy to start the painting process.  While you are learning, for sure you could do this. Its only paint, you can always sand it all back and start again. Its only your time and money on materials, but while you're learning, really its time and money spent on your education.  Once you know how to do this bodywork and painting, you won't want to waste your time and money on frivolous activities lol.
    • Yep I will use a guide coat after putting filler, I will do it on the whole panel as I'm a beginner so chances I've made quite a few errors. In that photo, I think that was a low spot, I just for example said to pretend it's flat but I will put filler + guide coat after to assess where I'm at. Yep with that picture, the panel is wet as it rained when I took the photo. But all those scratches are completely smooth, I went over it with 240 grit and can't feel it, even with my nail digging into it. I was legit thinking to buy a 2k can and spray primer to see how it turns out but then thought to myself it's going to be a mess doing it haha. Good mention there. Thanks for all that info I think I know what to do next.
    • Prior to laying down the primer, you need to make sure the surface is completely level. For example, based on this picture, I strongly suspect that the areas marked in blue are higher then the area marked in green.  If you spray primer over this entire area, then paint and clear it, the finished result will 100% show the low area. It will stick out like dogs balls. Unfortunately the paint won't magically level out the low areas as you lay it down.  Without seeing it in person, I expect that the green area will need to be filled, then use a guide coat and check that the entire repair area is level with a large sanding block.  With this picture, are you saying that even though you can see the scratches, the panel is in fact completely smooth and flat? If this is the case sure you could prep and paint it as it is.     The picture with the paint you described as blistering, it's hard for me to comment on from the photo alone. It looks like the panel is wet? Dunno, looks strange. Does the panel feel as smooth as glass when you run your hand over it? **** Going back to your question again, generally you would only sand the primer if you made a mistake while laying down the primer.  If the panel is prepped properly and you lay the primer down properly, you should not need to sand the primer.  This wouldn't work - Don't prep the panel. Spray primer and see how it turns out. Sand the areas where the issues appear. Spray more primer and see how it turns out. Sand the areas....... Yeah you'd go round and round in circles getting no where.
