Anyone done this? Looking to try it out to get a higher position for the blade.

Extended height legs bolted to the original GTR wing end pieces, holes in the extended legs to line up with the orignal blade with multiple angle mounting points. using 3mm aluminium, have a drawing penned to work off, but questions are:

will the material be strong enough to withstand downforce f Long straights?

Any foreseeable issues?

Is it worth doing?

Considering to make a new blade with the aluminium as well but wider (on the narrow side) to have greater surface area. Ie more area= more air can be redirected = more downforce

Any ideas and contribution much appreciated thanks

seen it done a few times in japan. can't remember off the top of my head who makes the 33 GTR kit though. it does look a bit funny to be honest but it's certainly functional.

Mate got this one from guys in china,very good quality,comes with stays and mounting brackets to boot, but dont need to use those as wing sits straight in original wing mount.have tested it gives great downforce.I do have heaps of areo front splitter and diffuser rear diffuser and now the wing.These wings are only 360 us and 150 us sent to you door.look great as well. pics attached Company is on ebay called [stonecarbon2009]post-7486-0-29488600-1307680637_thumb.jpgpost-7486-0-76179300-1307680656_thumb.jpgpost-7486-0-57882400-1307680719_thumb.jpg.have bought a few things through these guys great comunication and very well made carbon.
