Flaired Body Conversion

i have a m35 250t rx and have been thinking about doing the flaired guard conversion like on the axis is it? Is it possible with my model and if so what would I need to pull it off. Any info is good info

It's defiantly possible.....Pretty sure the only difference's are that you don't have the holes drilled in the guards from factory for the clips.

Whats the avaliability of the painted fibreglass guards. Id prefer them over the plastic colour code ones. Guess import monster will be my new best friend im guessin

Why would you use aftermarket fibreglass? I can't imagine the fit & finish would be anywhere near as good as OEM.

you may have me wrong or I got it wrong. Isnt there 2 different types. The plastic lighter coloured ones and the fiberglass ones that suit the paint type of the cars

I'm pretty sure you'll find that they're both an ABS type plastic, one is textured grey (ARX) and the other is smooth, to take paint (AXIS).

There was a full NM35 Axis fibreglass kit on Yahoo, dunno if it is still there.

It included the front bar, grill, flares and rear bar.

Decent price and the fit looked damn good (had it unpainted on an RS/RX in one of the pics).

Would probably be the easiest way of doing it if you can find the auction.

its probably the same part, you can paint over the textured section and the paint will smooth it out. someone should FAST it!

this is the reason why I bought an ARX - when I get the $$$ i will get an axis front bar and rear skirt

ARX = few mods = less $$ to pay and you have an axis wannabe car which is my goal lol

AXIS = paying top $$$ ill save up for Pm35 :-)
