Arp Mains Stud !? Mandatory?

I'm refreshing my R32 . I will be buying a set of ARP head bolt but how about the mains stud? are they mandatory? My builder told me : it's always better but if you don't have the money, there's no need.

Do you agree with that previous statement? I'm a student, I'm on budget so if I can save 200$ somewhere I will gladly to do it.

Depends on what your building, 1000hp engine.... Than I would deff buy em. 500hp engine I'd just go with brand new Nissan main bolts.

Depending how much the new nissan bolts are you might as well get the ARP main studs.

Look on EBAY.COM in US

with the Aus dollars so high you should get them pretty cheap.

Nevermind.. the main bolt doesn't fit with an AWD pan. only RWD.
