Recently went to a track day and came to discover after stopping on the way back that the battery had become disconnected. Luckily there was someone there to help me out big time (Matt from F&E).

The previous owner of the car put in a battery that is too high, and didn't reattach the harness properly.

Can someone post up some pics of what their battery harness looks like in an R34. I assume it’s the same in a GT-T and GTR.

Also, I have seen posts about which batteries to use, but can you note what battery you have in your car.

Thanks for any help.

^^^love the plywood and ducktape.

I have an odyssey LB1200 in mine, but will be replacing very shortly (the LB is dead) with an odyssey PC925 or PC1200. I beleive they both fit.

I also have a bracket over the top of the battery holding it in place. Not sure if thats standard but if i get time i'll snap some pics after work.

Yeah but its always been like that and its almost impossible for it to move given there is no slack in the leads (needed a hammer to get the plugs on the terminals). Timber was put in for something to bolt the amp onto and duct tape to hold it in place.

Hope these help:

Thanks for the pics.

The probelm I had with my battery was that the terminal came loose while I was driving, so I need to change the connector or the battery or both. I've got a harness too, so I want to use that with the new battery to secure it.

There's only one screw on the inner side of the battery, and I don't know how the toher side is secured. I guess something is missing. Will have to take the whole back plate and strut out to have a squiz.

Been calling around a few places and a few recommend odyssey because they are fairly small but still powerful enough.
