So I discovered a few weeks ago that my rear passenger seat floor was drenched. Like Soggy, soaked drenched.

U used up a whole roll of kitchen towel drying it out. It was nice and dry AFAIK for the past few days.

Today after installing all the stuff at Scott's place I noticed that area was wet again.

Does anyone have any idea what I should be looking for? I thought it would've been a doorseal/windows leak but that seems unlikely as the seats are dry. Its just the carpets thats drenched.

Really want to fix this up as I dont want the carpet rotting and having to deal with the stink of damp carpet either!

Where does the plastic tube for the rear window washer run? Could it be that?

The air con tube pokes through the fire wall on the passenger side maybe the rubber has split. Do you only get water after its rained or after the aircon has been on?

There is also a big rubber grommet just under the windscreen on passenger side for the ecu loom. That could be possible and next time it rains check it then so you can see where it starts from.

Well the water is leaking into the REAR passenger (left) side floor...so not sure about all that.

I think the water only appeared after its rained...certainly not aircon.

the rear window washer pipe runs down the drivers side

got sunroofs? check the rain pipes. i THINK the front one goes forward, and the rear one goes to the back.

check door seals, window seals. make sure the windows are all the way up.

if its built like any of the nissans i've had (s13, r31, r32, c34) the washer line runs down the passenger side of the car under the carpet

i reckon that would be your best bet

I agree with Iain on this one. I've seen the plastic tube for the rear washer on the driver's side in the M35, under the door sill trim. So not the culprit in this case I would think.

ive stripped two M35s. i KNOW where it is lol

i was basing my suggestion on this.. thought iaiaiaiaain was arguing saying he knows (otherwise)best lol

Didnt Iain and Leon both said the rear washer pipe is under the driver's side?

i still reckon theyre maybe a hole in your floor.. all it needs is a crack.. once its moist it will hold water and attract more...

the only other thing you can do is start pulling it apart to find a source...

Great...and if there is, does it make my car unroadworthy?

Can't exactly just seal it right? LOL
