Rb30/25 Head Gasket

Puting head gasket on my rb30/25

It has short pined rods so have been told I don't need to run as thick of a head gasket?

So just wondering how thick/ thin wood be the best?? And what brand wood be the best to run

Do you mean shot peened? It's a technique used to improve the fatigue strength of parts, and as above, unrelated to compression.

i went with 1.6mm but i got 9.01 pistons

Ok well lol thanks now I no guy who I got motor from really had no idea full stop, but I have had it looked at and new rings put in ect head cleaned up vaives reset,

This why I asked as I had no real idea about this short peened rods caper
