Injectors Cleaned And Flow Tested

Hey, I'm looking into getting my injectors cleaned and flow-tested within the next couple of days and was wondering if anyone could reccommend a place for me?

From searching, I've come across the following which have been suggested:

- Petroject

- AzNew Injectors

- Pro Flow

- CREATD

- Sabbadin

Any others I should add o the list to call up tomorrow for pricing?

Speaking of pricing, I called a place today regarding getting them cleaned and tested and because they are side feed (as opposed to top feed), he charged $44 per injector, which doesn't include new O-rings or anything. Is this pricing structure for side-fed injector cleaning the norm or is the guy taking me for a ride?

Also, anyone know how much a couple of O-rings for S15 injectors are?

WTF? So that's $20 to get them clean, flow tested AND new O-Rings and pindle caps? If so, that's a bargain cos it's only $120 for a full set of 6 :thumbsup:

But I'm down in VIC so I'm hoping for someone abit more local who will do it for a reasonable price.

I got mine tested and only one actually needed cleaning..All up cost about 90$

You'll find some places outsource - Just go straight to Petroject.

It'll be around $150 IIRC.

Petroject, now "Logicar"...charged about $35-40ea for 4x side feeds when I got them done...

He wasn't offering just a flow test and said it all gets done at the same time anyway :mellow:

I also called up Injectors Online (Springvale) and the guy on the phone was really helpful and their pricing wasn't too bad either, ableit abit confusing lol

$33 per injector to get it reconditioned (i.e new seals, O-rings, caps etc.)

The prices aren't compounded so IF they were tested and were fine, then it's $44 per injector. BUT if tested and require servicing, the $44 is dropped and only the $33 applies. It's a bit confusing but I'm gonna drop in and double check the figure before I leave it with them :thumbsup:

The customer service is good enough so I'll drop them off and see what's the go.

What? That's illogical. More labour = less cost? I'd believe the figures if they were swapped.

      It's also worth noting that I am heavily and unconditionally biased. I've had a lot of cars including some GTRs a fair while ago. I love my BMW's now a lot. They make no sense a lot of the time and the guys on here remind me regularly that I could get something else that does what I want better and cheaper. If you're going to take on an older BMW it's definitely a commitment. If you bail on it early you'll lose money and also the ability for it to put a smile on your face. Stick with it and it just gets better.  f**k I should get into advertising.

      Careful with posts like that around here without the flame suit on @cobo_11! 馃槀馃槀 My 330i journal is on here too. That car was so good and super reliable. We still have a 130i in the family which is almost identical to the 330i and easier to find in manual. It has also been almost faultless over the 6 or so years in the family.  I used to want an M car a lot more than I do now but if I'm honest and without trying to sound like a wanker, I can get such good performance and handling out of my 335 without needing to worry about all the crap that goes along with M car ownership. I don't need to worry about my bearings or subframe issues or the cost of replacing brakes or suspension or whether it has been impeccably maintained. And I can leave it places and not get upset when it's always filthy.

      Great write ups / details / photos. I'm sort of on the road to E90 ownership (325i or 330i), haven't hit the fork in the road yet "Yes" | "No", and some of the issues you've faced have me nervous for the age these are getting to nowadays (that wiring, jesus), but I'm guessing the pro's of ownership are still outweighing the con's? Of course, if the bloody tattslotto ROI actually went my way...E90 M3. And I'd have the cash to do all the extra lovely maintenance THOSE require. 馃槃
