If youre looking to get a new key cut, the genuine nissan part for a key without the remote central locking component has the part number H0564-AU000; I bought them off an ebay seller for $33 plus shipping. Unsure if it was a good deal, but it was convenient. According to a quick google search, Sterling Nissan in the Adelaide Hills may have some blanks - unsure what price theyre asking. A 10 point 'Nismo' key should also work, if you can find one.

From memory they are just over $200 new from Nissan. Not too bad considering what some people charge! Admittedly twice the price of my Falcoon key but then my Stagie is twice as nice as that car...

Nissan can get it cut for no extra fee if you have your key number (that's what I was told anyway). Programming can be done by the dealer or try it yourself:

$200 isn't as bad as I thought, I would pay that, albeit reluctantly..

Guess I will put it on the list. Might have to buy a few as my Mrs loses keys every 2 weeks.

LOL, you don't need a new key, you need a new Mrs... :P

My tag that come with the key has 05353, i cant find anything with google with that number. will have to click harder.... from the option catalog there were a few remotes that came with it.

Do you have a proximity immobiliser receiver (small black rectangular thing with rounded ends) with your key?

This is all I can pull up in FAST regarding the key for Oct 2001 - Aug 2008 M35's.

As you can see in the bottom of the pic, there are 2 part numbers (H0560-4A000 and H0560-79930) meaning there are 2 different types.

I don't know which one your have nor what the differences are between the two.

Section H05-001 if you need to take it to Nissan so they can maybe cross reference them on an English displaying FAST :)

(I'm sure they were sold with Maxima's, 350z's etc over here)

Sorry I should have been clearer. That number is the key profile- give it to Nissan when you order a key and they will cut it to the new spec instead of a key cutter copying an old worn profile off your existing key.

  • 1 month later...

Just and update

Managed to get my hands on some old fobs - transfered to new shell+blade, cut and programmed to my car following the hand written pdf instruction found on this site.

Took almost 4 weeks of waiting, praying and lots of fights and silent treatment with the other half as to why I withdrew soo much money which could succumb to nothing. If anyone has used Nengun auctions which is another story.

I now have one key cut and programmed for myself and two spare complete keys surplus that just needs to be cut and paired to your car anyone needs it check the Stagea parts section.

Reason I ended up with three keys was because I was scared that i may be outbid so i bid on all three to maximize my chances and also being a virgin nengun bidder.
