Rb20Det Vs Rb26Dett Gearbox Cross Member

hey i need a new gearbox crossmember, my car is an r33 with an r32 gearbox and i wanna know if an rb26dett gearbox cross member from an r32 GTR will suit the r33.

i can find plenty of images of the rb26dett cross member but very few of the rb20det one,

could anyone confirm interchangability?

Ahh, that would be a 'hell no'

Definitely will not interchange. That's not to say with some ingenuity and some tools you couldn't MAKE it fit

thanks for that, i wasnt sure given that there is a giant transfer case hanging off the side of a GTR box... ^.^

You probably need to do something similar to what those of us that have put 33 boxes in 32gtst's had to do.. I used 5mm flatbar to welded to the crossmember to relocate the holes ~50mm
