Canberra will be deserted over easter BUT i'm in for either night if it's open to oldies the experienced.

What about Uni Pub first and move on in to the city ?

I think alot of places will be closed on the Friday. A friend of mine was having problems organising a function for his b'day that day.

I think the main places will still be open - King O'Malleys has this on their website: "Over this Easter and Anzac Day long weekend King O'Malley's will be having free live music every night."

But from memory I've been out on the Friday night and it can be a bit of a ghost town. Might have to change family stuffs....

Hmmm, you guys should just make the trip up to the SAU: NSW club house and bring your own grog then just crash there and wobble home the day after bring your own sleep over gear and could even have a bbq to absorb the fluids so more can be put in! One epic cruise.

Then again Canberra would probably be more peaceful. Sydney is so angry.
