How Useful Is A Tomei Oil Baffle?

I mean it's only 200$ but if it's not needed, no point to get it. Is it just like an internet hype that GTR need baffle or it's real ?

I already have tomei oil restrictor,n1 pump, crank collar and ati damper regarding the oil issue on RB26.

Under hard cornering the lateral G's will pin the oil against the side of the sump out of reach of the oil pickup (depending how much oil is left in the sump), and you will might experience oil surge (pickup sucking air). Baffle is really cheap insurance if the sump is already out, but not easy to do (engine out or drop the subframe job).

If it's going anywhere near the track then yes it is a must. I would continue to overfill the sump if you aren't going for added capacity too.

Ive added this to the rb26 sump, along with CRD (mines-copy) head baffle unit, tomei oil restrictor, and head to sump oil return feed.

Didnt enlarge the sump.

I was told... that if you get a catch-can the head baffle is not necessary.

Oil/air seperator like Autech type or Nismo type, then yes it is un-necessary. But a catch can that just stores caught oil no, doesn't help the sump out at all.
