am very interested in these, was just wondering if anyone could tell me how they would fare on stock motor internals, have upgraded intercooler, powerfc, pipes, etc. i was running hks gt-ss before one shit itself but they were great (315rwkw, good response), are these similar?

Briggs, the -5's are a larger turbine then the GT-SS's and as such the response suffers slightly (500-1000rpm laggier according to some dyno graphs) however they will keep huffing and puffing all the way to ~370-400kWs. Some people prefer the response and favor the GT-SS's, but most seem to prefer the power and added torque of the larger turbine's being the -5's. If you push the -5 to their limit you will most likely reduce the longevity of your motor if your running standard internals, however some RB26's have been known to handle alot of power for a long time.. depends on the specific motor. How long is a piece of string. :) Hope i've been of some assitance and not just a hi-jacker :P

bump.

I bought them off another member on here.

He only used them for a few dyno pulls, so no they have not been rebuilt.

There is virtually 0 shaft play still, both wheels are in great condition too.
