Anyone remember the cadillac V8's.....they took a petrol motor and slapped deisel heads on it during the '80's fuel crisis, it worked but nobody liked it.

The cost of doing the conversion would outweigh the benefits, you'd be better off buying a diesel gemini and running that on olive oil

OMG you were serious... umm google the differences between petrol engines and diesel, or better yet put some diesel in your skyline and report back....

Don't listen to half these idiots, they have no idea about the benefits of diesel and cooking oil.

Just test it out on one of your parents cars. Put a mixture of cooking oil (I like the Coles brand, I find it gives better torque than the bigger name brands) and diesel in at the servo. You will want to get the car up to around 5000RPM and hold it there as soon as you leave the servo so the ECU can learn the new mixtures and recalibrate.

The vehicle may jerk around a bit and make some funny noises but this is just the spark plugs readjusting for the new temperature of the diesel. If the jerking gets to rough you will have to give it more RPM, closer to 6000rpm.

Ive tried this, its proven 100%, i tried Extra Virgin olive oil first and it ran abit rich. So tried coles brand canola and it run like a beauty.

this was tested on a 32 gtr btw.

Cmon guys, it's not really fair if you only give a guy half the information he needs. You have to perform a cylinder head port to cope with the extra compression ratio and flow the engine will now need. The Honda Sandbag method works best
