Welcome to the first MotorEx update for 2011. You may think we are a little early, but with such a huge event we are well and truly in planning and organising mode for the premier car show in Australia and entries are now open. We have up to 9 new blockbuster HOK Inauguration vehicles to uncover on Saturday morning with a further 70 spots available in the dome for Super Elite cars including the 30 invited Meguiar's Superstar finalists.

Last year at MotorEx we kicked off Street Elite Showcase, legally registered streetable cars with elite quality body, paint work, interior, engine bay but no undercarriage detailing. Street Elite Showcase proved to be extremely popular and we are expecting more entries for this rapidly growing category. 2010 was also our first year for the muscle car marvel, where original and modified muscle car clubs display their best cars to compete for the top trophy and $1000 cash. There will also be an expanded Real Street boulevard out the front of the venue, displaying up to 80 real street cars on Saturday with a different 80 on the Sunday.

As you can see we will be running the same categories as last year, which sold out 2 months prior, so don't be disappointed this year, get your entry forms in now! Entry's received before 23rd May are only $100 with entry's received after this date but before 23rd June at $150 if there are any available spaces. All categories are open to pre 48 hot rods, Street Machines and late model Hi-Tech Tuners.

legally registered streetable cars, Im not to sure on how legally registered some of these cars are going to be, dont get me wrong, I like mods for speed and handling, BUT, saying legaly regoed means the car has a legit engineering cert, there is nothing I hate more than someone saying the car is legaly registered with things like ATMO BOV or dumped on its guts, or-or-or, the list goes on.

On another note, how about sending some free stuff our way so that we can give out some of your awsome products out at one of our events, or send out a rep to one with shiny things to give away, Ill even take them for a drive in a legalish x 11ty registered streetable car (and do a skid), just have a look in this here events section of SAU NSW.

My missus always gets me MEGUIARS products for my B/Day and Xmas
