How To Choose The Thickness Of The Head Gasket?

It's for my OEM bored 86mm RB26, I heard stock is 1.1mm

I have the choice to either go 0.76mm or 1.3mm. What's the benefit ?

Generally you go a thicker head gasket if your running more boost, makes it safer on the engine. I would just go the 1.3 if 1.1 is standard size. You dont really wanna go thinner then standard.

Seriously, this is what I thought, considering tomei doesn't make anything lower than 1.0mm. Thanks!

All depends on boost you will be running, work out static compression with the 1.1 and 1.3 and see what compression you end up with, my engine builder did this on my engine, every part must be exact, theres no point on guessing on something like this is you plan on running some serious boost
