matixx
Hi guys, My car came with Tomei air fuel gauge from Japan, and the wiring was a little dodgy. I have disconnected the gauge and now just want to reconnect the o2 sensor to the factor wiring loom. Can anyone tell me which goes to which? The idle is a little unstable and I've switch o2 sensor off on the hand controller (apexi) cause the o2 sensor isnt connected. The three chords coming from the left of pic is from wiring loom, I'm not sure if this has been tampered with to adapt the gauge, there is four (black, grey, white x 2) coming from from the 02 sensor. FATGTS-R
I want to know this as well as my car has a tomei a/f gauge as well and my o2 sensor is also disconnected. MATIXX: The sensor you have pictured is not factory and is IMO a wide band sensor, like mine with the four wires. I can not use mine I believe as a wide band cant be used with a factory ecu from what a few tuners have told me. matixx
ok, so I've got to get a new oxygen sensor to be compatible with the wiring loom? I have power fc though so factory ecu doesnt affect me. The funny thing is with it all disconnected, when I select o2 on the function select it still seems to idle a little bit smoother? Does the rb25 have another form of 02 idle control I dont know about? FATGTS-R
Cant help you with the idle control but if you have a power fc the wide band sensor should be able to work with it. The wide band is better than the factory narrow band as it is a lot more accurate for tuning purposes. I assume you got the car with the fc already fitted.
