New Used Motor,transmission Replacement

Will it be worth getting a new used engine and transmission for 33 s2-t shell thats in good condition, and would the total cost be more than just buyin a new 1 for say 9-10

engine transmission (inc gearbox etc) will easily be 6k. inc labour and everything else you'll need to replace, far more expensive than just getting something that works..

If you look around you can easily find a half cut for under 4k, depending on what your car is missing id budget in another 1k for extras. Possibly even find a crashed donor car and rip the engine and gear box out yourself that would be cheaper.

If someone is goin to do the job for you its generally around 1 to 1.5k to do an engine and gear box installation (obviously u could do it yourself not that its hard but its a case of whether u can be stuffed doin it)

Would be easier to buy one though, ill be selling my S2 R33 GTST soon if ya keen
