Ok I'll give that a try see if that worjs

I use electrical contact cleaner which is essentially the same thing bar the price. Bunnings have them cheap.

Sad you couldn't turn up today cos of the car. We were wondering where you were.

Had a fun drive today. Even got to swap cars and drove a 350Z. Bloody spectacular cars even stock standard. I personally believe a it would run rings around my 180 on the track apart from the straightaways. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 3 or more seconds a lap quicker with me behind the wheel of both cars (depending on the track layout).

The Perrenti got all the attention from people up at Picnic Point and had a few requests for pictures. Nobody cared bout the 3 Japanese buzzboxes parked right beside it :(

That's only because I wasn't there ;)

I start mine at service stations and have people walk over saying "excuse me but what is in that".... And I giggle lol

So what's the review of the 350z I've never been on one? I know they sound sexy with an exhaust (much better then the raspy vg30dett's)

I think you would have completed the picture, Nick :)

They are solidly built cars. Drive brilliantly and by the seat of my pants, I believe they have greater mechanical grip in the twisty stuff. Their seats also hug you as good as early GTR buckets (I rate them the same with 33GTR ones) with the addition of power adjustment and heating.

The engine has plenty of torque from the get go and nothing beats an N/A for response. Steering is very direct and the brakes are good but a bit too touchy for my liking. Didn't get to brake too hard in it though so I can't tell how they compare to the setup on the 180.

Suspension was stock and didn't roll too much in the corners. Rode bumps and imperfections brilliantly - this made me hate my coilovers even more!

I really ended up liking the car very much in the brief time that I drove it. My comparison is of course based on my experience driving the old girl and being in a few skylines in my time (not just TSO member cars). I know they're newer so I am comparing apples to oranges :P

Makes me wonder what a turbo'd 350 would be like LOL

If you can squeeze turbos into that crowded as sin engine bay without a masters in "wherethef**kamigoingtoputtheseanomitry" ill sell you my first born child lol... Supercharging though

You need to take me for a run in the 180 broseph

APS used to make bolt-on turbo kits for the 350. Some 350s for sale here are turbo'd.

The old girl isn't anything special. She makes a great street car - got the brakes and takes corners like a pro but she can get unsettled depending on what sort of bump you hit mid-corner. Coilovers just suck plain and simple. Bilstein shocks and eibach springs all the way IMO.

Today's little session revealed my current alignment setting lacks turn-in compared to my previous setting but I don't have to fight the wheel so much in regular day-to-day commuting. Sad I can't have my cake and eat it.

When you do get a ride, you'll miss the torque of the LS and I thoroughly enjoyed the torque of the VQ. Boost however, can get addictive.
