Ok, I'll be waiting for you at Lakeside next saturday.

Hell no, that place is where nice cars go to die.... I refuse to put my car on that track.

But I ripped straight past you around the turns at QR.

Ill fix my battery clamp, then bring it on (for the first two laps then im unable to stop the car lol)

This particular ls1 can corner :P

Yeh I got your back Nick ;) lol

It can corner. Cornered very well after fitting the coilovers. But was a little drunk at the time also.

I don't have your back but captain. Tom is doing a great job of being all over it ;)

Chris, I might have to check out this clay bar of yours that you mentioned.....was just checking out some youtube vids, never used one before.

Its good shit mate. You can borrow mine if you want

Yeh I wouldn't mind trying it out out on a little patch - I take it that you have to use it with a form of liquid polish as a lubricant?

You would be correct sir. I have a detailing spray to use with the clay bar

Nice! Did I ever end up showing you the dents in my bonnet?I dare say that I'm gonna have to get the whole bonnet fixed and resprayed at some stage...it doesn't look like it from a distance but it has at least 5 decent hail stone dents in it and some pretty bad stone chips on the leading edge above the grill =/

Lubricant spray for clay bar? Sawft! Mix some car wash and water in a spray bottle and that will do. ;). Just needs to be a slippery solution.

Yeh it's a type of polishing compound with a wax mixed in...may as well polish/wax it while you're scrubbing away

that's the way we do it at work. The detailing spray came as part of the clay bar kit I purchased, otherwise I would be using car wash

Yeah you have shown me the dents on the bonnet. I'll give you a quick quote now to fix it all. Thousands

Clay strips off all wax and polish. You're essentially waxing and then ripping the wax straight off. Clay takes it back to pure paint.

You are correct sir
