I'm confused. All sounds interesting and stuff but you guys need girlfriends :)

Jokes aside would you mind running those calcs on my new wing? What dimensions do you need other than the basice shape? Can you go by a photo?

Any chance taking me for more spins in this thing?

Sure. It's still got straight pipes on it so maybe a quick spin round the block lol. Car is now at the factory in ringwood. Problem is that it's wheelspin city as tyres aren't up to temp. Kinda pointless but you'll still like the experience haha

Russman how are you going for rear traction?

I went for a track night last Thursday and had nothing... My car was over steering and wheel spinning with any hint of throttle when not in a straight line. Has rear camber at 0.75 and toe 1mm in each side!

Whay tyres have you got? What susp?

My car is very settled in the rear now. I am runnig 265 AO50 Semi's though. It puts the power down very well but my power curve is very progressive. It doesn't ramp hard at all.

Check out my video's and you'll see how well it's working. Nothing fancy with suspension settings. Springs are 6kg/mm I think and shocks are adjusted to soft.

Looking forward to this weekend. I am so going to T-Bone your car through the flip flop. You better pray you are in a different group Boy! :whistling:

haha! Buy a raffle ticket. You might get a hot lap :P

haha! I've got one of those, you know it actually turned out to be cheaper to have one than be single and hit the pub every other night :P... plus i love her, of course

Anyway sure thing. basically i need the upper surface area of your wing... so length times width. and a couple of good photos so i can approximate what shape the wing is... really what needs doing, to be accurate, is to measure the chord length, nose radius, maximum thickness, camber of the curve etc. etc., then you can work out exactly what wing shape you have and use the proper lift coefficients.

but approximating is so much easier =P

im feeling a bit zombified at the moment, just finished a 128hr 10 day week. but thats what i can remember at the moment.

cheers, Rowdy.

p.s. Roy be nice!

I'll measure stuff at some point and send it to you.

out of interest, what size rear sway bars are you guys using?

My sway bar setup is Roy's old setup. It's quite unusual and I've had suspension people look at me wierd because of it haha. 27mm front! and 24mm rear. perhaps having very stiff front bar makes the car less oversteery and more neutral through long corners. That's where my car makes up a lot of time. Also is the most fun part of driving round a track :)

Russ - how are you find the G4 356's with he standard rears?

They're great. I love them. I would like to get a bias adjuster so I can make the rears work more but it's very settled at the moment.

Well this weekend was the first time I have driven it with a proper wheel alignment and the ARC swaybars and I am pretty confident in saying the car is slower with the ARC bars.

LOL, if you have any plans of binning yours then let me know. I also have the std Whiteline sizes, but I think I will just go custom again and copy the ones you are running
