language conversion for the screen can be found here www.xanavi.com.au, they dont do series 2 conversions......... yet.

if its the integrated stereo, then youll need some parts to convert to the doublle DIN. if its not, then just change the head unit, make sure its got an AUX input for the tv. speak to commsman if you want a digital tv tuner as the factory one doesnt do much in australia.

Thanks Zei 201. Just wondering is it really worth it? how much anyway?

Yep a stock radio is ok if you don't mind a classic hits in Sydney or just hearing channel 7. Both are very clear. Guess that is the max that the frequency will go.

Anyone know where to get a "special" tint in Sydney as well. Probably say as low as 15% or 20%?

    • I used to do that, but then I got savvy. The benefits of having your phone photos geotagged outweigh the negatives. I just don't publish any photo straight off the phone/out of the gallery/off google photos, etc. If I'm going to use a photo, other than for SMSing to fam, I will always open it on the computer, copy it/otherwise edit it and save down without the original metadata, before using it. For example, posting photos of my engine bay into a thread on here, to show someone a plug or something - I will just screen-cap the section I want to use and paste that section direct from the clipboard into the post. No metadata goes along with.
    • Yes, so it won't work for places with no photos on the net. I would have said that there are no photos of the inside of my house on the net, but....then I realised that my kids' parties would have had bazzillions of photos of the living spaces, kitchen etc put on insta and other shitmedia. So... you can see how insidious it is.
    • Whomever is stalking me will need to deal with a few of these, so my safety is "assured"
    • It's not any meta data. They have scraped images from everywhere, and then use AI to compare your photo to other photos and work out where you are.
    • I just looked at my camera phone settings, apparently I have "not allowed" for location  Will that stop that app?
